Asystole Notes

CPR NOTES

9: 00AM :Patient is arrested.Rhythm shows Asystole.Called for help. Flat line protocol checked

(only for asystole).Still patient has

Aystole.CPR started immediately by myself.

CPR team arrived.Dr……… has taken over the role of team leader and assigned the task

for team members.Airway for RT/Ms..,Medication administration for RN/,Compression by CPR

machine and operator RN/…….and recorder as RN/…...Inj Adrenaline 1 mg IV given followed

by 20ml iv push independently double checked by RN1 and RN2 . Compression :Ventilation

ratio is provided at 30:2 .Ventilation provided by bag mask ventilation.CPR continued for 2

minutes.

9:02am : CPR stopped.Switched role.Analysed the rhythm.Rhythm shows Asystole .Resumed CPR.CPR
continued for 2 minutes .Dr….discussed within the team regarding the reversible causes.

9:04am: : CPR stopped.Switched role.Analysed the rhythm.Rhythm shows Asystole.Resumed CPR

CPR continued for 2 minutes

9:05am : Inj Adrenaline 1 mg IV given followed by 20ml iv push

,independently double checked by RN1 and RN2(Inj Adrenaline u can write every 3-5 min

interval untill the end of cpr)

9:06am: CPR stopped.Switched role.Analysed the rhythm.Rhythm shows Asystole.Resumed CPR

CPR continued for 2 minutes

9:08am : CPR stopped.Switched role.Analysed the rhythm.Rhythm shows Asystole . Resumed CPR

CPR continued for 2 minutes .

9:10am : CPR stopped.Switched role.Analysed the rhythm.Rhythm shows Asystole.Resumed CPR.

Inj Adrenaline 1 mg IV given followed by 20ml iv push ,independently double checked by

RN1 and RN2

9:12am : CPR stopped.Switched role.Analysed the rhythm.Rhythm shows Asystole .CPR continued
for 2 minutes .
