     PG FINAL PROJECT
    "DIE DESIGN AND FORGING PROCESS PARAMETERS OPTIMIZATION OF
    SELECTOR SHIFTER FORK BY FE-BASED SIMULATION" and the forging of same
    product with complete filling in die (DEORM Software) by taking optimum dimensions of billet
    with other parameters like friction coefficient, forging temperature, optimum forging load.
    Study on Grain Boundaries, Grain Growth, Recrystallization and Microstructure in Forged
    Selector Shifter Fork .

     PG MINI PROJECT

     Spike Forging Test (SFT) and Ring Compression Test (RCT) :


    To find coefficient of friction of lubricants in cold forging of SFT and in hot & cold forging in RCT.
    Comparison of std. calibration curve to experimental curve by simulation (DEFORM Software)
    between spike height difference & % deformation in SFT and % change in Internal diameter & %
    deformation in RCT

     Crushing Ball Test:


    Formation of Crushing ball by hot forging of optimized billet dimensions (Low Alloy steel AISI 4340)
    in suitable die, so there is complete filling of die cavity and minimum forging load is applied.
