Visit a pond or any aquaculture facility near in your place. Identify the parts of the culture
facility including the fishes, mollusks or crustaceans being cultured in the area.

ANALYSIS

Describe the pond or the aquaculture facility with its parts and the behavior of the fish in
their environment.

Ans.

The tilapia pond I went to was not that big. It is about 10 meters wide and 15 meters
long. the depth of the water is only 50 cm because the tilapias there are still small. Those are
new hatches. I noticed that the water was straight there. The water entrance is from the creek. It
only has a 12 inch water channel so that the pond does not overflow and has a 6 inch water
exit. It was surrounded by a net with only small holes. According to the owner, it contains 1000
pcs of baby tilapia.
