Speaking Task – Level 10 Teacher: Marcela Rendon Muñoz

Summative assessment (20%)

Task: Projects for my future
Purpose: Students are able to talk about remarkable experiences and the projects they have for the
future related to those experiences.
Situation: You are an influencer who have been invited to present your vision board related to
remarkable experiences, decisions and plans for your future on an event about attraction law,
mindfulness and life quality. Therefore, you need to design a creative presentation to talk about
your remarkable experiences, the decisions you have made, how you have been transforming your
life, and your future plans.
Logistics
1. Students will choose a program to design their vision board, such as Canva, Picmonkey,
desygner, Prezi, etc.
2. Students will divide their vision board in terms of habits, health, relations, experiences,
wellness and mindfulness. On each part, they will include first the significant experiences they
have had, the different decisions they have made about that topic and finally what are their
plans for the future. (For example, in health they can say a significant experience with an
illness, the decision to become healthier and their future plans to keep improving this area)
3. The day of the speaking task each student will share the screen and speak about their vision
board and experiences as if they were in a special event for influencers, for 5 minutes minimum
and maximum 10 minutes.
