Reminder: This final performance task in Business Enterprise Simulation is in collaboration with the 4th Quarter-
Final Performance Tasks in Applied Economics, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility and Inquiries,
Investigations and Immersions. The learner will produce one output only for these collaborated subjects.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the pandemic crisis, currently, some areas/localities here in Cavite
are still under community quarantine protocols and policies, which the business implementation may not
possibly be accomplished by the student. If so, the respective school/subject coordinator/subject teacher
may consider the current situation in their locality and decide and require the students whether they will
implement the small business or they will only conduct a virtual presentation containing some of the
parts of the business enterprise simulation report as an alternative.

FINAL PERFORMANCE TASK FOR 4th QUARTER

Performance Standards:

SUBJECT: Business Enterprise Simulation:


The learners shall; 1) undertake research on and analysis of business opportunities present in their
community; 2) apply knowledge from his/her previous business courses through the preparation of a
business plan that will guide the eventual implementation of the venture execute the business plan; and, 3)
monitor the same using business control tools and regular management and performance reports.

SUBJECT: Business Ethics and Social Responsibility


The learners; 1) identify responsibilities to the business organization he/she belongs to; 2) explain
the different models and frameworks of social responsibility; 3) identifies reasons for establishing business
enterprises beyond profit; and 4) prepare and implement a personal action plan to assist an existing small
business enterprise to practice ethics and social responsibility in their business operation.

SUBJECT: Applied Economics


The learners shall be able to; 1) apply tools and techniques for business opportunities like the
SWOT/TOWS analysis; 2) conduct a socioeconomic impact study on consumers, suppliers, investors,
government, households and international trade leading to options in venturing into a business; and 3)
conduct a socioeconomic impact study on consumers (new product and services); suppliers; investors
(capital, income) government (tax revenues, poverty alleviation, basic services); households (standard of
living, employment) and international trade (exports and imports of goods and services) leading to options in
venturing into a business.
SUBJECT: Inquiries, Investigations and Immersions

The learners should be able to describe adequately qualitative and quantitative research designs,
sample, instrument used, intervention (if applicable), data collection, and analysis procedures; gather and
analyze data with intellectual honesty, using suitable techniques (1) form logical conclusions and (2) make
recommendations based on conclusions.

As an aspiring entrepreneur, you have been operating your small business in your locality under the
guidance of your culminating activity teacher for a period of time. Your culminating activity teacher is now
interested to know how well you implemented your business in accordance with your business plan.
You will create a report of your business plan execution to be read by your culminating activity teacher,
which includes the following parts:
