    information on targeted variables in an established system, which then enables one to
    answer relevant questions and evaluate outcomes.

    WHAT IS DATA COLLECTION AND ITS TYPES?

    The term "data collecting tools" refers to the tools/devices used to gather data, such as
    a paper questionnaire or a system for computer-assisted interviews. Tools used to
    gather data include case studies, checklists, interviews, occasionally observation,
    surveys, and questionnaires.

    WHAT IS DATA COLLECTION METHOD?

    Data collection methods are techniques and procedures used to gather information for
    research purposes. These methods can range from simple self-reported surveys to
    more complex experiments and can involve either quantitative or qualitative
    approaches to data gathering.
