Recruitment of STEM Teachers for the Royal Government of Bhutan

EdCIL (India) Limited invites online applications from Indian PGT teachers for recruitment to
the following Teaching Posts for schools of Bhutan Government on contract basis:

• Mathematics
• ICT/Computer Science/IT
• Chemistry

The tenure of posting shall be for minimum of 2 year and the teachers may be posted
anywhere in Bhutan. The tenure may be renewed based on mutual agreement of the
employer (the Royal Government of Bhutan) and the candidate.

3. QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Educational Qualification & Eligibility for the PGT Teachers will be as follows:
• Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with at least 50%
marks.
• Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university (mandatory).
• Proficiency in teaching in English Language.
• The PGT teacher must have 5 year’s work experience in teaching Chemistry/
Mathematics/IT or Computer Science for students of 11th and 12th classes.
• High proficiency in use of technology for education.
• Maximum age of 40 years as on 04th March 2023.
• Physically fit with no medical conditions that may impede delivery of services
during the term of contract. Candidates shall be required to submit a medical
certificate at the time of joining.
• The Cut-Off date for determining various applicable eligibility criteria (Educational
Qualifications, Age Limit, Experience etc.) will be 04th March 2023.

4. REMUNERATION
(i) The teachers shall be paid a consolidated fixed remuneration of Rs. 1,40,000/- (Rupees
One Lakh Forty Thousand only) per month from the date of joining inclusive of all benefits,

(ii) The tenure of posting shall be for minimum of 2 year and the teachers may be posted
and relocated anywhere in Bhutan depending on the requirement the Royal Government of
Bhutan.

(iii) The Royal Government of Bhutan shall provide all necessary assistance to the
candidates for work permit as applicable.

(iv) Leave, medical benefits, travel passage and other terms of employment will be as per
the contract with the Royal Government of Bhutan.

5. HOW TO APPLY
i. Candidates are required to apply online through EdCIL website
‘http://www.edcilindia.co.in’ / ‘http://edcilteacherrecruitment.com’. No other
means/mode of application will be accepted.

ii. Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active
during the currency of this recruitment. All the details/information regarding the
recruitment process shall be shared with the candidates through their registered
email ID. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to any
other person.

iii. The name of the candidate, Date of Birth and his/ her Parents’ name etc. should be
spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Class X certificates/ mark sheets.
Any change / alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

iv. Carefully fill in the complete details in online application form. Scan and upload your
recent photograph and signature at the appropriate places as per instructions
contained in the online application format and submit the same. Login id and
password would be provided through e-mail on registration and keep it till completion
of all the steps for successful submission of application and for future records.

v. The application printout with photograph affixed will also have to be submitted during
document verification at the time of interview along with the original self-attested
copies of certificates in support of Age, Qualification, Experience, etc. as applicable.

vi. Candidates are required to download the call letter from EdCIL website
‘http://www.edcilindia.co.in’ / ‘http://edcilteacherrecruitment.com’. However,
candidates are advised in their own interest to visit EdCIL website from time to time
with regard to the call letters and other updates regarding the recruitment process.
No correspondence shall be entertained by the EdCIL nor EdCIL shall send separate
intimation to the candidates to this effect.

vii. Before starting to fill-up the online application, keep ready with you the following
details/documents/information:

Ø E-Mail ID;
Ø Personal and Educational qualification details (Marksheets of standard X (10th),
XII (12th), final marksheets of Graduation and Post-graduation);
Ø Scanned Copy of Recent Photograph (not more than 3 weeks old in jpg/jpeg
format);

 Ø Scanned Copy of Signature with Black ink pen (in jpg/jpeg format);
Ø Size of the image should be minimum 20 kb and maximum 50 kb;
Ø Work experience certificate with last pay drawn;
Ø Passport or Voter-ID as ID-proof
viii. The last date for submission of application is 18th March 2023 up to 11:00 PM

6. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the above posts.
2. The vacancies indicated above are tentative and subject to change.
3. The candidates may be posted anywhere in Bhutan.
4. EdCIL will not enter into any correspondence with the candidates about their
candidature.
5. EdCIL may take up the verification of eligibility of the candidate at any point of time
prior to or after the completion of the selection process.
6. The candidates applying for the recruitment process should ensure that they fulfill all
eligibility conditions for selection. Their admission at all the stages of the process
will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility condition(s).
7. Mere issue of admit card/call letter to the candidate will not imply that his/her
candidature has been finally cleared.
8. No age or category relaxation will be given to the candidates.
9. The candidates working in Government organizations are required to submit
NOC/VIGILANCE/SERVICE certificate at the time of document
verification/interview, if shortlisted.
10. No modifications are allowed after candidate submits the online application form. If
any discrepancies are found between the data filled by the candidate online and the
original testimonials, his candidature is liable to be rejected. Hence, no request for
change in particulars of any candidate shall be entertained at a later stage.
11. Any dispute with regard to this recruitment shall be subject to the court having its
jurisdiction in Delhi only.
12. Incomplete application in any respect shall be rejected and no further
correspondence shall be entertained. In addition, no other means/mode of
submission of application shall be accepted under any circumstances.

13. For queries, candidates are advised to visit the Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs) section uploaded on the website.
14. All correspondence/announcements with respect to above recruitment process shall
be done through e-mail/notices on the EdCIL website. It is the responsibility of the
candidate to download/print the Admit Card/Interview Letters. EdCIL will not be
responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong Email ID provided by the
candidate or due to any other reason. Candidate’s E-mail Id should be valid till the
recruitment process is over. The candidates are also requested to check the spam
folder in their inbox from time-to-time.

16. Candidates in their own interest are advised, not to wait till the last date & time to
apply. They should register well before the time for last date of submission of
applications.
17. The candidate is liable to be disqualified from the recruitment process and debarred
either permanently or for a specified period, at any stage of recruitment in EdCIL on
account of the following:
a) Impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person; or
b) Resorting to any irregular means in connection with his/her candidature during
selection process; or
c) Obtaining support for his/her candidature by any means, such candidate in
addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution; or
d) Furnishing of false, tampered, fabricated particulars or suppress any material
information while submitting the application or at any stage during the
recruitment process.
18. Short listed candidates will be informed about the venue and date of interview by
email. Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for interview in New Delhi.
All original documents including the medical fitness certificate should be produced
at the time of interview.
19. The terms of appointment / employment / termination / renewal of the tenure of
candidates shall be in accordance with the applicable laws of Bhutan Government.
