Optimists! Our 2011, 25th Annual Mullet Festival is only days away! Get one of those last ten of 219 jobs, sell another book of Raffle tickets, invite a neighbor, a friend, family member, a stranger - to join the FUN or even become a member of the club that puts KIDs first and HELPs KIDs in over 30 KIDS projects annually with our time, talent and every dollar anyone donates for any reason. Im proud to be a small part of a club that tries so hard to make life for KIDs better here in Baldwin County. We have had another wonderful year HELPING KIDs. THANK-YOU. With the 2010/2011 year wrapping-up we have begun to plan 2011/2012. We are looking for new ideas for old programs or maybe old ideas to new programs anything to make your contributions have a bigger, better and have a longer lasting impact on our local KIDs. Optimist Zone 6 Lt. Gov. Ben Spencer visited our club to make us aware of a special fundraiser for the Childhood Cancer Campaign at the Bay Bears Stadium in Mobile, which some of our members attended. Next year our very own Peggy Pope will be visiting clubs in Daphne, Loxley and Foley as the new Lt. Gov. of the Zone. Congrats, Peggy.
