INTRODUCTION

Since 1991, Basic Engineeilng Limited has undertaken engineering projects a(ross a range of

settors including river dredging, road construction I electrical transmission lines as well as
different equipment foundations for gas industries and power sectors.

Basic can work on turnkey proiects independently but we have also often collaborated with

various foreign engineering firms as a joint venture partner, sub-contractot I local partner. We

have also comDleted projeds as a main contractor fol various government bodies such as Roads

I Highways Department (RHD), Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB), Bangladesh

Water Development Board (WDB)8 tivilAviation Authority of Bangladesh (mAB).

We are listed contractor under Roads 8 Highways Department (RHD), Bangladesh Power
Oevelopment Board (PDB) I (ivil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (mAB). Basic is also a

member of Bangladesh Association ol Construction lndustry (BACI) I Dhaka (hamber of

(ommerce I lndustry (D(0).
We are also enlisted under BAIRA (Bangladesh Association ol lnternational Recruiting Agencies)

as a recruiter I exporter of construction workers. ln collaboration with various lntelnational

construction firms, we have sent exDerienced construction workers I operators abload to work

on plojects in Algeila, Burundi, Malawi, DR (ongo, libetia, Iajikistan I Solomon lslands.

One of our strengths is the execution of various types of piling jobs both onshore and offshore

such as forietty construction, for river crossing electricaltowers (132 KV I230 KV). We carry

out marine piling work by engaging a barge with a crane I a vibro-hammer. ()ur sistet concern,

Barisal (ontracting [[( , also completed marine piles at the Palm Jumeirah monorail project in
Dubai under the supervision of a leading Japan construction firm.

Our aim is to provide an engineering solution for our clients with timely execution I quality

work. ()ne of our key strengths is our flexibility I the ability to arrange suitable additional
petsonnel who can be quickly integrated into effective wotking teams.

We supply heavy construction 8 lifting equipment to fitms like ftevron 8 lafatge on gas plant
I cement factory projects in Bangladesh. As a result, our equipment opetators I riggers ate
highly trained with a focus on safe working methods.

ln fact, our owned equipments include rough terrain (ranes, a 70 ton trawler ctane, lff 815

vibrohammers, telescopic forklift, manlift, crane trucks, dump trucks, excavators I pay'loadets.
