Micro-Project Proposal

Title of Micro-Project:
Fort Travel Website using PHP

Problem Definition:
Fort Travel and Tourism website is designed using HTML, PHP, MySQL and some other web
developing languages. The goal of all this topic is to develop a website and understand the essence of
the site being designed. A secondary goal is to set up the 2-way feedback loop between the client and
ourselves. This website is designed effectively. Our project is all about analyzing all the server
scripting concepts and to build an innovative website.

1.0 Aim/Benefits of the Micro-Project:


This Micro-Project aims at:
a) To learn about Website Development using PHP embedded in HTML and with the help of
Database at backend for storing data.
b) To develop a report based on the Website.
c) To apply server side scripting concepts.

2.0 Course Outcomes addressed (COs):


a) Develop programs by applying various object oriented concepts.
b) Use form controls with validation to collect user’s input.
c) Perform database operations in PHP.

3.0 Proposed Methodology:


1. Discussion of the topic among group members and finalizing one.
2. Gathering the information required by referring to various websites, videos and performing a
Literature survey to complete the Project report.
3. Verifying and analysing the information gathered by each team member.
4. Preparing the detailed report by organizing the information gathered.
5. Demonstrating the report to guide to know if there are any possible corrections/mistakes.
6. Submitting the final project report along with viva.
