    Answer the following questions.

    1. What are the features of academic writing?

    • Include Reference in order to support your ideas.


    • Using Grammar and vocabulary in a formal style.
    • Writing should display confident evaluation of your research.
    • It is a balanced writing method which gives valid reasons why the ideas of others may
    be accepted, dismissed, or treated with caution.
    • In this style of writing your voice must be clear, you need to demonstrate critical
    thinking skills and critical analysis. Also, you need to demonstrate critical thinking
    skills and critical analysis. In addition, in critical writing you need to recognize the
    limits of your evidence, argument, and conclusion.

    2. Explain 5 ways of maintaining quality in good writing?

    One of the first way to maintain quality in good writing is maintaining simplicity. To
    maintain simplicity be simple and direct, use the simplest way to express ideas and try to
    avoid uncommon words and expressions.

    In addition to maintaining simplicity coherence is also something that’s needs to be


    looked into if you want to maintain quality in writing. To maintain coherence in a writing
    idea should flow smoothly and it needs to be organized logically. Thus, it will be easy for
    the reader to understand it.

    Authority is also important in order to maintain quality in writing. IF you are writing
    about a topic specially as a write you need to do proper research and collect sufficient
    information about that topic. If wrong information is being incorporated by a writer this
    can bring a negative impact to his or her reputation.

    As a writer whether you write an essay, article or assignment you need to ensure that
    there is a focus throughout the writing. In addition to this, every paragraph must point
    to the central idea and each topic sentence must come under the main point and your
    ideas need to be connected.

    One another way of maintaining quality in good writing is Unity. Every paragraph should
    point to the central idea behind the essay and each topic sentence must come under the
    main point and all your ideas need to be connected throughout.

    Moreover, in order to maintain quality in writing you should develop paragraphs so that
    it expands the central idea and it should give examples, descriptions and further details
    so that the reader can understand it properly.

    answer.
    If one is using confusing language in writing the writer might not get the message you
    want. Also this might change the complete meaning of the message that the writer
    wants to give to the audience.
