    To Whom It May Concern,
    I have worked as Lindsey Garber's University Supervisor since the beginning of this school
    year. In my role, I have worked with her, the assigned mentor at Troy Athens High School, and
    with other personnel at Oakland University to help her through the student teaching process.
    Lindsey has excelled and improved in many areas related to her teacher training. Among the
    most noticeable, I would include the following.
    1) Shown an ability to build and maintain relationships with students, and use those
    relationships to build a safe and effective learning environment.
    2) Developed a good teaching routine from lesson launch to lesson closure, having several
    individual and all-class checkpoints for understanding during the lesson.
    3) Continues to grow and excel in the area of lesson planning and development. She has good
    routines here too but also tries new methods and strategies to keep students engaged. She has
    been a bit of a risk-taker when it comes to making lessons relevant to students and has found
    great success doing so.
    After working closely with her this past year, I am confident that she is on the right track to
    continue growing into an effective full-time teacher once hired. After spending nine years as a
    school administrator and being involved in hiring many new teachers, I would hire Lindsey as a
