EXPERIENCE
Teach For America, Baton Rouge, LA — Intern January 2023 – Present
 Work with the Department of Strategic Partnerships to support their efforts to bolster interest and
engagement of Teach For America Ignite Fellows in the South Louisiana region.
 Create surveys and interviewing current Ignite Fellows to gauge the current experience of Ignite
Fellows as well as their interest in the Teach For America AmeriCorps Program.
 Plan a Lunch n’ Learn event to foster a closer relationship between Ignite Fellows and the Baton
Rouge TFA Office and to talk with current fellows about leveraging their skills and experiences to
maximize the impact of future cohorts.
 Collaborate with Alumni Affairs to host an End-of-year Ceremony to honor current AmeriCorps
workers and alumni and distribute the Haymon Award for their commitment to the community and
their students.
LSU Office of Multicultural Affairs, Baton Rouge, LA — Student Worker August 2022 – Present
 Answer phone calls and emails about the office’s programming, manage office email account, and print, scan,
and send out mail daily.
 Make room reservations, table for the office in Free Speech Alley, and greet students and staff in the office to
make the space welcoming to all.
 Assist in event planning and management, especially providing input on how to make events more inclusive
to LSU’s diverse student body.
Gwinnett County Public Schools, Snellville, GA — Various Positions June 2022 – January 2023
 Long-term Substitute Teacher: Created a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning,
maintained classroom and behavior management records for teacher of record, and followed
professional practices consistent with school and system policies in working with students, student
records, parents, and colleagues.
 Support, Enrichment, and Acceleration Tutor: Followed teaching programs set by regular teachers and
prepared lesson plans when necessary, collaborated with other staff members to plan and schedule
lessons promoting learning and student engagement, and fostered a safe, positive, and supportive
learning environment.
LSU Student Food Pantry, Baton Rouge, LA — Student Worker December 2021 – May 2022
 Conducted cordial and positive interactions with supervisors, coworkers, donors, and customers.
 Sorted, organized, and shelved food donations and monitored expiration dates for food donations
regularly.
 Maintained pantry input and output records and sent out communications to customers.
 Hosted outreach events to recruit new customers and volunteers for the Friends of the Pantry Program.
The Patio App, Baton Rouge, LA — Campus Ambassador August 2021 – January 2022
 Created social media content for Instagram that marketed the Patio app to students at Louisiana State
University.
 Communicated with target audience to help grow social following and app usage by 1000+ people in
one semester.
 Worked closely with my co-intern to keep app engagement high, troubleshoot technical issues, and offer
improvements to Patio’s design team.
