3. In your point of view, what are “The key features” for a good school system?
4. In your opinion, what are the top 5 competences and skills of the head of educational
institute?
1. He Understands the Importance of Building Community.
Principal supervises teachers and education staff and keep track of student
performance according to micro plan.
He ensures lessons delivery as planned and school facilities remain safe for students
and faculty and plan regular maintenance of school grounds and equipment. Principal
also researches and acquire new materials and resources to improve the experience of
both students and teachers.
Overall, principal responsibilities include:
• School Environment
• Staff Development
• PR, Liaison
• Culture Development
7. With respect to JD (of school principal) what is the biggest threat you feel?
Bullying and violence because it can damage the impact of school in days.
The image of the school principal as a distant authority figure, especially in the eyes
of students, disprove the complex nature of the role and the potential it has to
meaningfully impact students. Further complicating efforts to better understand the
immensely relational aspects of the principalship is a large body of research on
school leadership that is primarily focused on issues of academic press and the
various pathways and mechanisms through which leadership’s effects on student
outcomes are manifest. The result is a principal who is often viewed by scholars and
laypeople alike as an administrator, a manager of resources and adults, and a
dispenser of discipline. While student outcomes (primarily academic) have become a
top priority over the years, there remains a perceived distance between principals
and individual students, with few exceptions.
10. How do you involve the staff & faculty in decision-making process?
A great leader understands that his or her success largely rests on the productivity of
his or her team. Although an effective leader is essential for any school to excel, a
leader alone cannot ensure the success of the entire organization. Further, a leader that
forges ahead alone with his or her own ideas is not truly a leader. When a team works
hard out of fear, the success will be temporary as job satisfaction will be low and
turnover will be high.
Moreover, students can feel a culture of fear and intimidation, and research has
consistently shown a positive school culture along with productive relationships is
strongly linked to student success. With these pieces in mind, a leader who is not
invested in collaborative decision-making will not find success.
In contrast, a leader who understands the value in collaborative decision-making will
constantly seek input and consider multiple viewpoints in making all critical
decisions. Decision-making logically should consider input from those who will be
responsible for direct implementation and have expertise related to the decision. With
regard to showing value for teachers’ feedback, actions speak louder than words. That
is, a leader’s behavior is what defines a leader as opposed to their beliefs and words.
11. What are the possible strategies (for school management) to make parents the
successful partner?
• Student voice
12. How would you help teachers and staff to improve student achievements?
Principals maintain a collective focus on school goals. They coordinate work within
and across teams to facilitate collective efforts. They also make sure that solutions
are shared and applied school-wide. by empowering and coordinating the work
of teachers and school staff around shared goals. After strong team building
School staff hold each other accountable for the success of all students in the
school, not just in their own classrooms. This accountability comes with support and
capacity-building, so that all teachers can reach their shared goals. For example,
management and are committed to using it. Administrators are also consistent in
their treatment of behavior issues. The result is that adults in the school know what
to expect from each other, and they support each other to create clear expectations
of students.
