PLAN Teaching Dates and Time FEBRUARY 23, 2023 Quarter FIRST

Session 1
Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional
lessons exercises and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies.
Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be
derived from the curriculum guides.
I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the learner is able to:

1. Define self-concept.
2. Present a role play about the concepts of id, ego, and superego .
3. Reflect on the importance of knowing oneself on self development.

II. CONTENT Content is what the lesson is all about. It pertains to the subject matter that the teacher aims to teach. In the CG, the content can be tackled in a week or two.

IV. PROCEDURES These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the
students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with manipulative ways to learn new things,
practice their learning, question their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge.

2. Have each group perform a role play, with each person representing their assigned role in the decision-making process.
3. After the role play, ask the class to discuss how each role affected the decision-making process. Did the id dominate the decision-making,
or was it the superego? How did the ego balance the two opposing forces?
4. Encourage students to share their thoughts and insights about the role play and how it relates to their own experiences.
5. Finally, ask the class to reflect on how they can use this knowledge in their own lives to make better decisions.

 Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalysis Theory describes three components of personality: the Id, Ego, and Superego.
 The Id operates on the pleasure principle and is present from birth.
 The Ego operates on reality and guides behavior to satisfy desires without compromising self-image to others.
 The Superego holds moral judgments and concepts of right and wrong, which are acquired from family and the environment.
 Self-concept undergoes development as a person goes through different experiences.
