Worksheet 3: Habit Two: Begin with the End in Mind
Daily you will face questions about issues that will affect your future beginning
right now. Decide how you will respond to these questions before you face them,
that way you know what to do when the time arrives.
School Work
Drop out or stay in school?
I will stay in school because I would want to get a diploma in something, which can
help better my future.
Do as little work as possible and just get by?
I would do my best that I could possibly do to show you work hard to get where
you will be in the future. It will also show what your capable of.
Begin scholarship applications today or put them off?
I would put them of right now because for me my main focus would be on getting
through my first year of high school and doing my community hours. I would more
likely start focusing on my scholarship applications during my junior and senior year
of high school.
Decide on a college or university or have someone else decide for you?
I decide on a collage or university myself because I would know whats best for me
in what I want to do in the future. It would also help me choose a collage that
focuses on what I want to do.
Sex
Have sex or abstain?
Abstain because I would not be ready and I would possibly feel uncomfortable
with the person.
Cave into pressure from your partner or not?
No because I would stay strong and abide by my decisions. I would also feel
uncomfortable to do something I don’t want to do.
Not have sex and talk about it like you do?
If I were in a situation like this where my friends were talking about their sex life
I would not act like I have done sex, instead I would just not be part of the
conversation.
Always use protection or just when it is easy?
Always use protection because without it your almost for sure to get pregnant and
its one of the worst situation’s that could happen because it could ruin your
chances of going to collage/university.
Drugs and Alcohol
Take drugs or not to?
Don’t take drugs at all because not only can it ruin your life in dropping out of
school but also physically affecting your body.
Experiment with drugs or not to?
Never experiment with drugs because some may be toxicants and can lead you to
end up in the hospital.
Drink and drive or be the designated driver?
Be the designated driver because I am not going to put me or whoever I am in
danger of being in a car accident.
Assist others in doing drugs or not?
Never assist others in doing drugs because you are basically helping them or
convincing them to ruin there lives.
Creating a Mission statement
A personal mission statement is like a personal motto that states what your life
is about. It can become a map for your life's journey. Since your destination is
not yet decided, why not decide today to make your life extraordinary and leave
a lasting legacy?
To create a mission statement answer the following questions:
1. Think of a person who made a positive difference in your life. What

qualities does that person have that you would like to develop?
Someone that made a positive difference in my life is my mother. Some
qualities I would like to develop from my mom is having the strength to do
so much. For example she went back to school a few years ago and I knew
that it was probably hard for her since she had to go to school while also
taking care of her family that I would want the strength to pull through
something like that.
2. Imagine yourself in twenty years. You are surrounded by the most
important people in your life. Who are they and what are you doing?
Twenty years from now the most important people I would be surrounded by in my
life is my parents cousins grandparents and hopefully my future husband and
children. By then I hope to have a stable job to support my family and be happy
and loved with my family.
3. If a steel beam (6 inches wide) was placed between two skyscrapers,

what would you be willing to cross for? A thousand
dollars? A million dollars? Your pet? Your brother? Fame?
If a steel beam was placed between two skyscrapers the only way I would be
willing to cross it, is for 15 million dollars. I would say 15 million because I would
use it to buy my parents there house and then use the rest to support myself
through collage and also buying myself a house.
4. If you could spend one day in a great library studying anything you
wanted, what would you study?
If I were to spend a day at a library, I would study the how create anime’s. Like
how you make the voiceovers connect with what the characters are saying.
5. List ten things you love to do. (It can be anything, singing, dancing, reading, daydreaming)

6. Describe a time when you were deeply inspired
A time when I was deeply inspired is when I saw a video in how to have your hair
naturally curly without using a curling iron. This was a time when I was deeply
inspired because I wanted to make my hair look curly since now I’m starting to
have natural wavy hair but I just don’t know how to handle it.
7. 5 years from now your local paper will write a story about you. The reporter
wants to interview 3 people about you. Who would they be and what would they
say?
If a reporter wants to write a story on me, they would interview my mom, my best
friend Ayden and my neighbor best friend Darion. My mom would probably say how
she is proud of how I’m doing in school while my best friend Ayden would talk about
what her and me usually talk about which is anime. Finally my neighbor best friend
Darion would talk about how I use to be when we were little.
8. Think of something that represents you (rose, song, animal). Why does it
represent you?
Something I say would represent me is anime because its something that I’ve
grown to enjoy and I just love watching them. Also because most of my shirts are
of anime and I recently have been getting into reading the manga forms of the
anime.
9. If you could spend one hour with any person who ever lived who would that be?
Why that person? What would you ask?
If I could spend an hour with any person it would be Adam or Eve because they
were from a time so long ago and I would ask them what it was like back then with
just the two of them.
