DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
FORM EVOLUTION/INSPIRATION

Given that the researcher's architectural guide is a brutalism style of


architecture, the researcher's architectural guide served as inspiration
for the idea, which was inspired by the horn of the carabao, which
denotes massiveness.
BRUTALISM
ARCHITECTURE
Brutalism is a style characterized by a focus on
materials, textures, and construction that results in
extremely expressive forms. Brutalism is a
post-war architectural style characterized by the
use of basic, block-like structures, typically
constructed of cast concrete or brick. It is
distinguished by "Massive" strongly textured raw
concrete (beton brut) and angular geometric forms.
