16. Or is it ok for the architect for him to not give the plans because these are his designs?

17. A client asked an unlicensed architect to design a structure and when the client’s payment
was not enough, can the non-licensed architect sue the client?
according to RA 9266 article III section 33 "Collection of professional fees. — It shall be
unlawful for any unregistered person to collect a fee for architectural services except as an
employee collecting a fee as representative of a Registered Architect." The architect doesn’t have
the power to ask the client for payment so meaning to say that the architect cannot sue the client
because just by accepting the job and willing to receive payment is already unlawful.
18. A foreigner wants to provide his architecture services here in the country, is it okay for him to
do so even without a Filipino partner architect?
According to R.A. No. 9266 section 25. “A foreign architect or any person not authorized to
practice architecture in the Philippines, who shall stay in the country and perform any of the
activities mentioned in Sections 3 and 4 of R.A. No. 9266, or any other activity analogous
thereto, in connection with the construction of any building/structure/edifice or land development
project, shall be deemed engaged in the unauthorized practice of architecture and shall, therefore,
be criminally liable under R.A. No. 9266 and this “IRR of the Architecture Act of 2004”.
19. An architect is in the middle of a project, but suddenly he did not occur in his mind that his
licensed was suspended. Will the project be halted because of the incident?
20. What will be the standard procedure for the architect to lessen the casualties in the ongoing
project that is under his name?
As an architect, knowing the risks associated with a project site is a good place to start since
performance objectives should be in line with any potential threats. The next point is that
materials not only contribute to building durability but also to occupant comfort and safety.
Architects might choose risk-reduction materials at an early stage of the design process. Lastly,
high-performance structures require careful details. Long service life, strong environmental
separation, low-maintenance cladding, and systems and assemblies that permit quick
replacement are all characteristics of a resilient building.
21. An examinee is trying to take the board-examinee in Architecture but was found out that he
has a criminal record under his name but it is not him, what can be the procedure for this
problem? Dapat ayusin munang ma prove na hindi talaga sya guilty dun sa kaso kasi according
to ganyan ganyan
22. If the criminal record if a light-offence done, can an examinee still be able to take the board
exam? according to ganyan ganyan ganyan ganyan meaning to say that the examinee doesn't
meet the qualification, so why bother taking the exam
23. Is an architect accountable for an issue even though it is in another field of work?
It depends on the contract between the architect and the client. On commercial construction
projects, it's typical for the client to employ the architect not only to design the project but also to
provide services during construction. The architect's services during the construction phase will
normally include, among other things, regular observations and assessments of the development
of the construction activity. To ascertain whether or whether the building is being constructed in
line with the contract documents, including the drawings the architect has created, an architect
may be tasked with monitoring the work. Even if the architect's design or specifications contain
no errors or omissions, an owner may try to hold the architect accountable for building flaws
(often in addition to the contractor). The argument used to support such a claim is often that even
though the contractor was to blame for the error, the architect was in charge of supervising the
project and thus had a responsibility to point out the error and see that it was fixed.

24. An architect is hired and designed a completed plan for the client but the client didn't fully
pay his payment on the agreement between the two, how can the architect deal the situation?
The architect can terminate the license to use his/her drawing and specifications that are being
used in the project.
25. Can the architect sue the client for his behavior? If the client still pursued to use the
architect’s plan even when the license to use is terminated, the architect can sue the client for
copyright infringement.
26. Another architect’s design was used by another architect for his own, but upon construction
an issue occurred upon the design that was used. Is he still liable for the issue of the structure that
he was not aware used? The original architect isn’t liable for the damages or issues in the
structure because his/her seal wasn’t the one that is used.
27. Can the owner of the design press charge to the other architect for using his own design
without his permission? Yes. The owner of the design can press charges to the other architect
with copyright infringement.
28. An Architect-in-charge of construction died, and his designed structure collapsed within the
15 year contract, who will be taking the fault?
Since the architect is already dead, the engineer in charge will be the only one to take the fault,
what’s the point of blaming a dead person?
29. After graduating the 5years of Architecture, is it okay to take on different types of professions
in Architecture? Yes. You will have a variety of highly sought-after creative, visual, practical, and
design-based talents to offer companies if you have studied architecture. There are many other
options for you to think about, even though the majority of architecture graduates will be
wanting to become chartered architects to work professionally. For example: Architectural
technologist, Interior and spatial designer, Building surveyor, Town planner, Production designer,
Historic buildings inspector, Structural engineer, and more.
