Experience description: (10 points)

I will bring a small basket that is wrapped around like spider webs. I will put new toys in for children to get them engaged. I will
then get their attention asking for their help to get their toys out of the web basket. I will demonstrate how they can do it without
pulling out their toys.

Materials (4 points)
Basket
Plushies: Fox, dinosaur, a unicorn and a cactus
Yarn

Plan for carrying out experience (what caregiver will do) (4 points):
I will make a spider web using a basket. Want to make it as interesting yet not too hard where children won’t have trouble getting
the toys through the yarn. Where the openings aren't too big or too small for them to grab and pull out the toys.
I will bring a small basket that is wrapped around like spider webs. I will put new toys in for children to get them engaged. I will
then get their attention asking for their help to get their toys out of the web basket. I will demonstrate how they can do it without
pulling out their toys. I will also make sure to hold the basket while our younger friends are using it to balance on it and see what
is inside the basket.

Do you feel the children were engaged? Why or why not? (4 points)

I feel that some were very engaged and some were not. Once I brought out the basket, children were engaged and interested to
see what I had in my hands. Once I sat down with the basket a few kids were running over to me, and already putting their hands
through the yarn to try and pull the toys out from the basket.

What would you do next time to increase or improve the learning? (2 points)

I would see if I can make more of a complex spider web for them. To try and see how they would do, by using their brains to
figure it out or using their hands to see how they can get it out.
