    Design and special properties


    • Thin and robust cable
    • Cables for direct burial, in applications with high mechanical loads and in areas with rodents
    • Smooth (non-corrugated) steel tape as protection against rodents and mechanical damage
    • Central tube construction
    • Dry cable construction by water swellable materials
    • Two steel wires (diameter 1.2 mm) as strength members, opposite embedded in the outer jacket
    • Outer jacket PE, UV resistant
    • The used single-mode fibers are fully compliant to standard ITU G.652 D (reduced OH-peak)
    showing low attenu-ation throughout the 1285 nm to 1625 nm wavelength range
    • Customer standard for fiber coloring
    • Cable design according to Corning standard
