Welcome Message
Colleagues and friends,

It is truly a great pleasure to inform you that The 4th Scientific Meeting of North
American Spine Society (NASS), International Society for Minimal Intervention in
Spinal Surgery (ISMISS), and Indonesian Spine Society (ISS) - NASSISMISS 2019
in conjuntion with The 1st National Congress of Indonesian Orthopaedic Spine So-
ciety (IOSS), combined with One Full Day Intensive Cadaver Workshop.

The first until third event was held successfully in 2016 and 2018 and we are cer-
tain the 2019 workshop and meeting will have a bigger crowd as its has become
one of the most anticipated meeting in the field of Spine management.

NASS is one of the most important organization in Spine Surgery and has profes-
sionally held its meeting around the world.  NASS meeting is always awaited by
Spine surgeons and has a world-class quality. It is a big honor for us to be able to
combine these three meetings and no doubt that this meeting will be supported
by world well known expert.

The 4th NASSISMISS 2019 is jointly organized by North American Spine Society
(NASS), International Society for Minimal Intervention in Spinal Surgery (ISMISS),
Indonesian Spine Society (ISS), Indonesian Orthopaedic Spine Society (IOSS) and
Faculty of Medicine and Health University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (FKKUMJ)

The meeting will start with the conference on August 23rd and 24th 2019 at Holiday
Inn Hotel, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. The conference will feature top experts
in Spine world. The One Full Day Intensive Cadaveric Workshop on Minimally Invasive
Spine Surgery will take place on August 25th , 2019 at Anatomy Laboratory, Faculty
of Medicine and Health University of Muhammadiyah, Jakarta, Indonesia. Shuttle
bus will be provided from Holiday Inn Hotel, Kemayoran. For optimum learning
process we will limit the number of participants, so please make sure that you
securely book your seat as soon as possible.

With the easy access of Visa on Arrival (VoA) for 169 countries and international
airport, Jakarta city is more than ready to entertain you. Jakarta has extraordi-
narily developed and would be the tourism forefront in Asia over the few decades.

Course Description :
This One Day Full Intensive Workshop is intended to advance the existing skills of spine practi-
tioners from a multi-specialty perspective. Distinguished faculty combines didactic instruction and
hands-on lab-based training with topics the present and future in spine management.

• Early Onset Scoliosis Management
• Open Deformity Reduction
• Vertebra Osteotomy
• Total Disk Replacement

Upon completion of the course, participants will gain strategies to:


• Assess functional outcome measurement and optimum benchmarks;
• Comprehend the risks of advanced interventions to patients;
• Identify physical and psychological barriers to return patients to function;
• Appreciate the value of interdisciplinary teams to maximize return to function;
• Identify the role of disuse atrophy and fear-inhibition in a cascade of declining health.

The organizing committee will send a invitation letter for participant upon request and once the payment
is received. This invitation letter is intend to facilitate participant’s travel and visa arrangement and
do not imply any commitment of financial or other support by the organizing committee. Please
include your name, address, and a note requesting a letter of invitation.

LIABILITY/DISCLAIMER
The organizing committee shall not be held liable for personal accidents, illness, loses, or damage
to private property of registered delegates of the congress, during and after event. Participant is
responsible for any damage sustained venue fittings, property or equipment. Participants are also
strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage and trip
cancellation.

Registration & Accommodation Information
ENTITLEMENTS
Registered participants are entitled to admission to all scientific sessions, exhibition, scheduled
coffee breaks as well as lunches. Each participant will receive a name badge and congress kit con-
taining the final program/abstract.

REGISTRATION FEE
All scientific registrants, including those presenting a free paper, must register as full members
and pay the relevant registration fees. Registration will not be confirmed until the committee
has received the respective registration fee. To register, complete and mail the registration form
together with your payment to the congress secretariat. Payment method can be through bank
transfer of credit card (visa and master card only).

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES FOLLOWING GREAT BENEFITS

ON-SITE REGISTRATION
Those who have not registered in advance may register at on-site registration desk. No refund will
be made for on-site registration fees.

CANCELLATION of REGISTRATION
Written cancellation notice is required and will be settled after the congress. Written cancellation
received before:
Until July 15th , 2019 50 % refundable
July 16th , 2019 and after Non refundable

ROOM RATE
Hotel rooms at special congress rate are being held for the congress participants. All rates are per
night and per room included breakfast. Reservation must be through the congress secretariat to
guarantee the indicated rate negotiated for the congress.

HOTEL RESERVATION
Hotel assignment will be made on a “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS”. If a certain hotel have been
booked out. Application for hotel reservation should be made on the hotel reservation from trough
the congress secretariat. No reservation will be made without the request deposit. Full payment is
required and should be paid before July 15th, 2019. Payment can be made with credit card Visa and
master card only) or Transfer.

CANCELATION of HOTEL RESERVATION


• Written cancelation notice is required before July 15th , 2019
• The organizing committee has the full authority to CANCEL one or more rooms of one night
deposit has not been received at the latest August 1st 2019 with the written notice beforehand
