1. Explain why “this construction sector plays a very important role
directly improving people’s welfare”.
Answer:
The definition of Construction Service Business itself is something
formed in the community, a business with services in the field of planers,
executers, supervisors. As it means that the construction service business
is one of the businesses that associates planning and supervising of an
infrastructure activity for physical form such as buildings, etc.
According to The Law on Construction Service (UUJK) states that
Construction Services are construction work planning consulting services,
construction work implementation service and construction work
supervision consulting services. From the definition in the UUJK, a
“Construction Services Business” is formed in the community, namely a
business on “services” or services in the field of construction planners,
executors and supervisors ho are all called “Service Providers”. On the
other hand, the term “Service User” appears, namely those who provide
jobs that can take the form of individuals, business entities or government
agencies.
The construction sector plays a huge role improving the people’s
welfare, as they provide work and jobs in the fields, the infrastructure
made from it is also used by the people.
2. Explain why the actors of the construction business have a significant

share in efforts improving the national welfare.
The government and private sector carried out investment activities
to increase more and more and more construction service business. This
can be related to increase more and more construction service business.
This can be related to the number of people in the country that needs
services. The construction service business in the country can involve
national entrepreneurs through a fair and efficient and of course
economical process, and also law environment. The involvement of the
national construction business service is hoped to be a place that can be
used to find jobs, to improve more infrastructure service for the public and
for the construction service to compete in many markets (foreign,
national).
It is hoped that the involvement of construction service business in
the development of national welfare:
1. Develop national business and be able to absorb labor,
2. Increase national competitiveness,
3. Government services to the public are getting better

3. Describe the current construction business process that you think less
efficient, causing the product to be expensive
Answer:
Expensive products are often found in business construction where
the planning was not checked thoroughly. The important capitals we have
to know about construction business are: knowledge/skills, social,
management, these aspects not aligning can lead to even less efficient
business construction which is often encountered. Below are some of the
highlighted factors of less efficient construction business:
a. Project Estimation that is Inaccurate
Because of many project owner’s eagerness to get the project started, it’s
often found schedules and budgets to be overrun. It is very vital for your
pre construction phase of your project to be accurate and realistic,
considering all the deadlines and costs. Architects, contractors and other
parties can express their opinion and concern over budget and timelines.
b. Error in Project Design
If the design plans are defective, the cost will absolutely increase where a
design is poorly made, and or incomplete.
c. Administrator Error
Small errors in the administrator team can results a big problem for the
whole project. Even with a solid design, the project can still be overrun.
Also problems that occur in between can’t be even known until too late
because it occurs in one aspects and the others does not know. As for the
solution, many contractors believe that with more people on the job,
administrators can focus o their area solely.
d. Internal Coordinator
Trust gaps and personalities between contractors and owners can exist
because of natural conflict and that can have major impact on the project.
4. Describe characteristics of suitable business model at this time
The type of model business that is most suitable for this time around is the
Modern Business Model. Because it is very detailed in their roles. The tasks
given are clear and direct. I think it allows all the workers to be focused on
their assigned work or tasks and the modern business model also makes sure
that all the people in charge are coordinating with one another. The
coordination and communication is very clear, as it is very important. Below
are some of the characteristics of the business model
a. Cost-Effective
This doesn’t necessarily mean cheap. This means that no random expenses
should be spent
b. Generating Growth
If the cost doubles, it means the sale should at least be doubled, settle for
the same or more sale
c. Generate Resales
d. Retain Customers
e. Success that distinguishes from others
