is that the effects are saved with the game so that when you start your game again
without Game Shark you'll still have the effects.

01XXD8CF Catch any pokemon and fight any trainer in any version. Works in any
grassy area. When you fight a trainer (even elite four) you will fight that pokemon
instead of the trainer and can catch it. If you use the trainer codes you can fight
that trainer either in the grass or when you fight a trainer. The game crashes when
he sends out his first pokemon. When you use the Gary codes his name will be
whatever you called him at the start of the game.
