Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is
 To provide students with an understanding of private equity which is a principal in the business primarily done for capital appreciation from funds invested.
 To develop the knowledge of students on venture capital finance which focuses on technology-based early-stage finance
 To provide understanding of private equity financing in the expansion, turnaround, and acquisition funding of established companies from a broader industry base.

Prerequisites:
The student must understand Accounting and Financial Management to study this course.
