Part 1 – Instruction
Suzhou HAWK Manufacturer Presentation
The Suzhou HAWK plant is a comprehensive system made up of complex components,
designed for fast, high-quality core manufacturing. At present, Suzhou HAWK plant
can meet your needs in core manufacturing, sand mixing and conveying, sand core
storage, tool replacement, and data management.
Due to the unique characteristics of the Suzhou HAWK plant, it is essential
that operators receive training. However, the operator generally quickly masters
the operating technology and its theories. To improve the efficiency of the
operator's work, we have designed this manual to guide the operator to operate the
entire software program, that is, the HMI.

Software introduction ：
The purpose of this manual is to guide the operator in the use of the
HMI. This manual can be used as a reference guide for operators to troubleshoot
potential software-related problems. Once the operator has read this manual
carefully and has received HAWK training, he or she will be able to handle the
software and operate the firing machine without much trouble.

Part 2 －Software
Summary

This part introduces the software design of HAWK machine, and the operator will get to
know the machine in general through this part.

Software installation
When you turn on the power to the machine for the first time, the touch screen is
activated and immediately begins to run the software program. HAWK software runs
automatically, without the need for the operator for further instructions. When the
startup is displayed on the screen, the software is ready to help you with the job of
producing.

Software design

Summary for each function of the manufacturing system

Generates high quality sand core just like HAWK mixer,gas generator and firing machine
and the system software brings together every function of the manufacturing system
into one interface. Each component has a screen in the program; however, they are
brought together by the main touchscreen control panel.

Icons
The design of the heart making machine meets the needs
of different languages and cultures.
Icons are often used to introduce the different functions of the machine and aid
operator understanding. These will be detailed in later chapters.

Cash data management

The box management function would shorten box changeover time and maintain continuity
of manufacturing.
The configuration and data of each box will be saved in the HMI.
The user searches the box name in the HMI and downloads the recorded data to the PLC.

Core Manufacturing Optimization

The design of the core fabrication software allows the operator to change parameters
as needed and fabricate high quality sand core. Although the recipe is already
registered and saved, the operator can adjust it for a certain production and can
decide whether to save the setting or not.

Enter data
The application of this software does not require a high level of knowledge
computer and typing, just click on the screen, and a keyboard appears
like this picture, click on the screen to input the letters and
numbers.
Click "DEL" or "←" to delete. If you want to exit, click "ESC"
or "X".

Part 3－ General software application
Summary
This chapter explains the general operation of the system and the procedures
detailed software.
Operator familiar with the software program and its design and knows how to use it
after reading this chapter.

Screen layout
HAWK's system image design is unified, the operation area is in the
Middle of the screen, you can choose the appropriate parameter and change the settings
of other components in it.
The screen changes according to the different function. Normally, the icons that
Presents each feature are lined up along the edge of the screen; each component has a
specific parameter in the interface.

Change parameters and settings

First, activate the selected icon at the bottom of the screen and then the
parameters are easy to modify.
The boxes behind each parameter, like the picture, are for display and input
new data.

Párametro set point valor real

The actual value of the parameter used is shown in the box to the right. The operator
can enter the value of this parameter with the button next to it. When a box is used
on the machine for the first time, the operator can use this button to enter its
parameter value or, if necessary, use this button to temporarily change the parameter
value to improve production quality.

For example, if you want to modify the trigger time, select this button and click,
a keyboard will appear as follows, enter the desired time and "enter" to
confirm. To return to the previous page, click "ESC" or "X".
You should see the value reflected in the button and it will apply in the PLC to
produce. It will not change until they change it again.

Exit the system

On the main screen there is a button with a red door at the bottom-left. Click to exit the
system.

Part 4－ Using software

Start window
Instructions
The startup window is the first procedure after installation. Show X3-20L machine
shape

Press the F1 button to enter the main screen. Generally displays the machine
operating information. In this window, the operator can use all the functions,
including the firing machine, the sand mixer and the gas generator, and various
parts of the software: error information, box data management and monitor.

The system information that it shows in the window, such as the actual
quantity, the cycle time, the mechanical time, cannot be modified in this window,
they are only to give you information. When changing the box, the operator enters
data in the box settings, he can also reset the counter to zero at the beginning
or end of each production day.

Data management
To change the parameter by selecting the function from the start window, simply
click the icon.

Data management

The operator creates a new cash register using this function, see the chapter

Equipment Components

Shooting machine function

Generally, all window layouts in the Suzhou HAWK software program are
consistent with the home window layout shown earlier in this manual. When the icon
representing a component, such as a trigger, sand mixer, etc. is clicked, only the
area in the center of the screen will change to show the value of the required
function.

On the "gas generator" page you can change the parameters that
requires.

First you have to choose the cold process. The Triethylamine Tank Add Time is the
time when the external triethylamine is added to the catalyst tank to the machine
and you need to reset it after the set time has elapsed. The right side can monitor
the status of the liquid level of the catalyst tank.

Failure analysis
This software could help operators or maintenance engineer to
analyze causes of failure quickly and minimize downtime
The following image will appear on the screen when you click this
function. A maximum of 20 messages will be displayed in one.

The fault screen will distinguish between general faults and input / output errors
to be viewed separately.

Box configuration
The data management of the heart manufacture includes all the saved data of the
box. If the recipe for a particular box has been recorded, they can be modified
according to production requirements. All data management icons are displayed in the
box setting interface.

This function allows the operator to create a new cash register. Click this
icon and it will appear as the following image.

Enter the name and recipe of the box

Click on the white box and a large keyboard will appear, press 'enter'
after entering a new box name.
The system assigns a unique number for the new box. You can also enter your
own number, the same way as entering the box name, but the small number
keyboard will appear. It must be taken into account that it does not repeat
the same existing box number.

Box configuration
The first piece of information in the column is the name of the record,
which must be consistent with the name of the white box when creating and
renaming a new box. There are 7 box configuration parameters in the column.
The initial value is 0, which means that it has not been configured. You can
click the value button, and the system will display a small keyboard, When the
value is 1, it means it is set. Other parameters of the box can be set in the
machine parameter setting interface and then it will be saved in the box
setting.

Large keyboard

This function allows the operator to save box recipes when creating a new
data record or a modification.

This function allows the operator to select a cash register and

download it to the PLC.
This function allows the operator to build a new cash register
and copy it to the cash setup.

Machine parameter
This function is used to modify the ramp time of the work table that rises to
the gassing position and descends to the step position of the gassing plate.
The input unit is milliseconds and the maximum is 5000 milliseconds.

Technical term
Button
It is a button or box, when you click it, it performs the indicated
operation.

Database
A data collection of boxes, you can draw the useful information in it.

Software message
It will appear when the trader selects an order on the screen, it is a method
communication between the operator and the software.

Icon
Represents an action or function, click and perform the action or function.

Mouse
It is a small manual control, they use it to enter data and give order of
the software.

PLC
Or called a programmable controller, it is a unit that instructs and controls
the operation of the machine.
