    This Method Statement is to give instructions regarding the Installation of DBs
    PURPOSE:
    for the Project.
    RESOURCES:
    MATERIALS / DB, Drilling Machine, Chasing Machine, Tool accessories, Electrician Tool Box,
    PLANT / TOOLS: PPE, Scaffolding, etc.,
    Engineer, Supervisors, Electricians, Skilled / Semi-skilled Workers,
    MAN POWER
    Helpers
    DRAWINGS Approved GFC / Shop Drawings
    DOCUMENTS: Quality Formats as required for Installation & Testing.

    Sl. No. RESPONSIBILITY ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION


    1 Project Engineer / Installation Distribution Boards;
    Site Supervisor /  Mark the locations of the distribution
    Safety supervisor boards in the Electrical room as per the
    approved Drawings.
     Install the Distribution Boards at the
    appropriate locations.
     Install raceways as per the requirements.
     Lay copper wires in the wire alleys from
    the conduits.
     Take the wires inside the DB.
     Neatly dress the wires in the DBs and
    ferrule properly for correct identification.
     Terminate the wires.
    2 Testing Engineer / Testing  Carry out Testing to check the operation of
    Project Engineer / MCB.
    Site Supervisor /  Record all test results in the appropriate
    Safety supervisor formats.
     Get the signatures and approval of the
    Consultants / Client.
    QUALITY CONTROL
    3 Site Engineer / Installation /  Quality Formats for Installation, Testing
    Quality Supervisor Termination and Commissioning activities to be used.
    / Testing  Ensure that all the instructions as per this
