The Ravelli is a very light tripod that extends to a height of " inches. With a weight
of just over 1 LB, this tripod will not weigh you down. This tripod is constructed of
aluminum legs and a hard plastic head. It has the ability to change the cameras

Using the Tripod
Initial Set Up
To begin using the tripod, open the carrying bag using the zipper and pull the
tripod out of protective bag.
Height Adjustment
Adjusting the height of the APLT2 is done by snapping open the black leg
locks (G), extending the legs down to the desired height, and then snapping close
the leg locks. For additional height, turn the center column knob (F) counter
clockwise to loosen and pull up the center column to reach more height. Lock the
center column by turning counter clockwise to prevent it from retracting down.
(Note: When adjusting height, try to extend the thicker leg segment, as they are
thicker and provide greater stability.)
To secure the camera to the tripod plate, match the ¼” screw (A) on the
tripod to the mounting screw hole on the bottom of your camera. Turn the knob
clockwise to secure the camera.
Note: It may be easier to mount the camera with the tripod head in portrait
orientation.
Tilting - To control the resistance of the tilt, turn the handle (E) clockwise for
greater resistance or counter clockwise for less resistance to easily tilt up and
down.
(Note: Finding the right amount of panning resistance will give you smooth and
optimal speed for great captures. We also recommend the use of sand bags to
provide greater stability when panning.)
Care & Maintenance
Clean the tripod with a damp clean cloth.
Storage
Caution: There is a tipping risk for the fully extended tripods. This can be
due to moving the tripods while fully extended, things such as uneven
surfaces or wind. To reduce the risk of tipping over, we recommend placing
one tripod leg facing the same direction as the camera or the heavy part of
mounted equipment to balance the weight. We also recommend purchasing
sand bags or weights to set on the tripod legs to hold the tripod in place.
Ravelli™ guarantees the tripod only and is not liable for damage caused to
backdrops, cameras, lighting, or any other items.
Caution: Always ensure all leg lock knobs, center column knob and head knobs
are securely tightened before placing it on a firm surface.
