Cryogenic Storage Tanks


VRV introduces the new generation of vacuum insulated Eagle Cryogenic Tanks
(ECT) for LIN, LOX, LAR, CO2 and N20. The ECT was designed to provide the
lowest lifecycle costs possible with versions from 3,000 to 60,000 litres and 18
to 37 bar.
Featuring bestinclass build quality and an ergonomic design with maximum
use of stainless steel, seamless pipes, stainless steel valves and worldclass
components, the Eagle guarantees years of carefree operations. ECT are
designed according to PrEN13458 and the European Directive PED 97/23.
Main Characteristics
• Modular, robust construction  Full welded construction with stainless
steel piping, valves, lifting lugs and stainless steel saddles prevent corrosion
on the outer vessel.
• 100% Seamless Piping  Seamless stainless steel 304 for all inner vessel
piping to ensure a long, leakfree and maintenancefree life.
• High Quality Components  Selected for their reliability; high grade
stainless steel valves and level gauge.
• Ergonomic Design  Pipework layout with few connections eliminates
potential leaks and eases operation and maintenance.
• Vacuum Quality Guarantee – Innovative vacuum and insulation process
guarantees a long life with superior holding times, backed up by an
extended warrantee.
• Ultra Clean  Inner vessel and piping are pickled, passivated and
hydraulically tested with deionised water, certified degreased for 02 service
in accordance with EN12300.
• Superior Paint Quality  3coat process guarantees exceptional longterm
resistance to chipping, corrosion, oxidation. Total thickness is nearly twice
the thickness provided by other manufacturers.
• Exceptional Flexibility  Eagle tanks can be customized to satisfy almost
any technical requirement.
