There are two variants of the pressure control (4150) and tighten to 130 Nm.

1. Unscrew the screw plug (3500).
 De-aerate retarder.
2. Drain any oil that has accumulated in the oil
collecting pan. 1. Switch off the retarder foot control if present and
possible.
3. Lubricate the new sealing ring (3550) with
silicone-free, non-corrosive grease. 2. Move vehicle at 50 km/h.

4. Screw in the screw plug (3500) with sealing ring 3. Activate retarder at brake stage one five times for
(3550) and tighten to 130 Nm. approx. 5 sec. each time.

coolant into a clean collecting vessel.

2. Replace the sealing ring (20400) and lubricate it


with silicone-free, non-corrosive grease.

new O-rings (2105 and 2106) and pull them onto
the non-return valve outlet (2100).
