Dialog (4 mins)
Role-play the dialog with your teacher twice, and learn the highlighted expressions by heart.

Jack: Do you think there’s anything we can do to reverse the damage that’s been done to the environment
already?
Mary: It might not be possible to fix the problems that we’ve created for ourselves, but there are lots of
things we can do to prevent more devastation from happening.
Jack: Like what?
Mary: Well, we can adopt the green living lifestyle.
Jack: What is it?
Mary: For example, you should make sure that your car runs on unleaded gas. If possible, you should use
renewable energy at home.
Jack: I understand what you mean. What do you think is the biggest concern for our future?
Mary: I think that the issue of greatest concern is the Earth may become devoid of clean water for everyone.
TI: Take turns to play both characters. Emphasize and repeat the highlighted expressions.
