Configure Internet Explorer

To use Coreworx products, you must configure Internet Explorer with specific options for these
reasons:
 Some components of the PIC Portal are installed as Internet Explorer add-ons, so you must
enable access to install browser add-ons, such as those required for file viewers.
 Some PIC Portal features require pop-up dialog boxes, so Internet Explorer must allow pop-ups
from your web server.
 Viewing some linked content requires that the Always open pop-ups in a new window option to
be enabled.
 Coreworx products run in Internet Explorer compatibility mode only.

Some browser add-on toolbars can interfere with Coreworx functionality. Coreworx
recommends that you uninstall any add-on toolbars from Internet Explorer before using a
Coreworx product.
