WEEK 2 – UNIT 1: CAREERS IN TOURISM

2. Objectives: After this lesson, students will be able to:
2.1. Knowledge objectives:
- Recall and use question forms properly.
- Recall the meaning and use of phrases used in writing a CV and cover letter; attending an
interview and applying for a job.
2.2. Skills objectives:
- Write a CV and cover letter.
- Use useful phrases in an interview and job application
2.3. Behavioral objectives:
- Have interest in applying words learned at class into real life English conversations.

4. Anticipated problems
- The number of new words is quite large, so students may have difficulty in recalling all the
words. They should be encouraged to learn these lexical items via e-flashcards on Quizlet
website (link shared on LMS).
