1.POSITIVE DEGREE – describes only one


person, place, or thing without making any
comparison.

2.COMPARATIVE DEGREE - two person,


things, or places are being compared with
one adjective or verb to show that one has

Some one-syllable adjectives with single vowel


before the consonant, form their comparative and
superlative degree by doubling the last letter
before adding -er for comparative and -est for the
