    The history of AI began in the 1950s when researchers first explored creating machines with human-like intelligence, as proposed by Alan Turing. Over the decades, progress in algorithms and computing power has allowed AI to become more accurate at processing large amounts of data to perform tasks. Machine learning is a key area of AI that uses statistics to allow models to learn from data without being explicitly programmed. Today, AI is used in many applications from image generation to code competitions, demonstrating its effectiveness through high accuracy on different tasks. However, some argue that current AI still requires human prompts and oversight and is not yet able to replace human jobs.

    History of AI

    The field of AI has been developing since the 1950s, when computer scientists first began
    exploring the possibility of creating machines that could perform tasks requiring human
    intelligence. Alan Turing proposed the idea of a "thinking machine" in 1950, and researchers
    around the world have been building on this idea ever since.

    Over the years, AI has just become more accurate as researchers have developed ever-more
    powerful algorithms and computer programs. The field has faced a number of obstacles and
    challenges, but progresses in the 1980s and 1990s paved the way for a new era of AI research.
    How Does AI Work?
    AI, or artificial intelligence, works by processing large amounts of data and extracting patterns
    used to perform tasks. This is done algorithms and models that are designed to learn from the data
    and improve their performance over time.

    One reason why AI is able to process large amounts of data is because of advances in computing
    power and storage. Modern computers and cloud-based systems can handle massive amounts of
    data, allowing AI systems to train on billions of examples in a relatively short amount of time.

    Another reason why AI is effective is because it can handle complex and unstructured data, such
    as images, text, and speech.

    What is Machine Learning?


    Machine learning is a field of artificial intelligence that uses statistics to make computer able to
    "learn" with data, without being explicitly programmed.
    The key steps in a machine learning project are: collect data, choose an algorithm, train and
    optimize the model, make predictions and decisions, evaluate performance and re-train as needed.
    Machine learning is an evolving and fast-growing field. Ongoing research continues to advance
    machine learning capabilities.

    Today's Uses of AI
    Nowdays we already seen a lot of ai implementations, like image generating, code competition,
    one of the most useful tool that we can easly use is chat Gpt, a chat bot that will respond to our
    prompts, providing text content that will satisfy our request, like a program code in many
    languages, traduction, writing assays…

    One way to quantify the effectiveness of AI is by measuring its accuracy and performance on
    different tasks.
    My Point of View
    In my opinion Ais are a powerful tool, able to do easy tasks like writing assays to image
    recognition.
    The accuracy of Ai’s generation can be very high, but for the technologies that we can see today in
    my opinion Ais are not able to take down humans jobs.
    Taking for exemple Chat Gpt, a powerful Ai tool, if there wasn’t someone to enter the prompt, the
    ideas it wouldn’t realized.
