Poster with reproducible activities on the back including:

• Invitation to event • Coloring sheet
• Name tag • Movie script
Instructions:
• Photocopy the name tag template on the back of the poster.

on their name tags.
• Stick the name tags on with tape.
Materials:
Script reproducible, any dress-up items/props
Instructions:
• Make copies of the scripts from The Rugrats Movie (on back of poster) so every child gets one.
• Have props handy (if available). Suggested items: (feather boa, pirate hats, flags, eyepatches,
purple hair bows, pacifier, baby bottle, rattle, sippy cup)
• There are two ways to do this (try both!):
#1: Assign everyone a character and have each child act out their character’s lines (this option is good
for small groups).
#2: Have everyone read a line regardless of what character it is (this is a lot sillier and is good for a
large group).
• Encourage kids to add their own sound effects.
• Note: Kids can enter to win a voiceover part in Rugrats in Paris: The Movie in the following books:
Angelica the Grape, A Day in the Life of Angelica, and Surprise, Angelica! This activity is not related to
that sweepstakes. The sweepstakes winner will be chosen at random and not based on acting ability. See
books listed above for official rules.

Note: At the end of the event, you can display kids’ artwork in your store, suggest that kids send their postcard
to a friend, or have them self-address the postcard and then send it out — kids will get a kick out of getting mail!
Be a self-promoter! Before you send the postcards to the kids, add a label to it that reads, “Thanks for
coming to the Rugrats party. Hope to see you again in the . . . store soon!”
