Whatsapp Community VS Whatsapp Grou1
Whatsapp Community VS Whatsapp Grou1
WHATSAPP GROUP
Although both WhatsApp groups and WhatsApp communities aim to bring
people together, there are notable differences between the two.
CONTENT SHARING
WhatsApp communities and groups are different in terms of content
sharing. Users can send texts and media in groups, react to messages,
create polls, and mention others. All members can share their desired
content unless restricted by the group admin.
Members cannot react to the message sent by the community admin but
can reply to a specific message privately. Also, community members
cannot see who else is a part of the community.
PRIVACY
With little tweaks, you can change the privacy settings of a WhatsApp
group; however, there are some settings you can’t change.
For example, when you add people to a WhatsApp group, their contact
information is visible to other group members regardless of whether they
are in their contact list or not. It gives users complete freedom to save
contacts and connect with whomever they want in the group. It is a bit
concerning that people you do not know can access your phone number
just by being a part of the same group.
FEATURES
WhatsApp groups allow everyone to connect and interact with each other.
Users can send media like pictures, videos, and documents, their location,
and share contacts in the group. You can also forward messages to
anyone individually. WhatsApp groups have Polls by which users can give
their opinions as well.
You can react to the messages and also select one to reply to. In other
words, WhatsApp groups are created for mutual interaction.
WhatsApp groups allow you to make as many admins as you want. On the
other hand, WhatsApp communities allow users to make up to 20 admins
at a time.
CALLING FEATURES
Groups allow you to hold voice and video calls with up to eight members.
The conversation is end-to-end encrypted and suitable for holding small
meetings.
Users can also send a message and pause the video while on a WhatsApp
call. You can minimize the screen and navigate to other apps without
disconnecting the call.
You can add up to 50 groups in one You can add only one group to one

Group admins can send important Group admins can send important
information to everyone in the information only to members of a
community group.
CHECK IN REGULARLY
Finally, make sure to check in on your groups regularly. This means going
through group conversations to be sure members are following the rules
and engaging in meaningful discussion. You can also deactivate the
WhatsApp communities that have served (or are no longer serving) their
purpose.
Once we create the community for those groups 234/50. We have to create
only 5 community. Once it will created we don’t want a automation for daily
news and group updates. Nowadays we was sending 3 news per day. It
takes around 6 hours to reach all the group members. If we create a
WhatsApp community once it will take only a few minutes to send those
messages to all the members in the WhatsApp group.
