Progress planning steps:
- Build a work breakdown structure (WBS)
- Arrange tasks in an orderly manner
- Estimate how many resources each job requires
- Determine the time to complete the tasks
- Make a schedule: draw a Gantt . chart
- Manage and track progress
Drawing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
The work of a project is broken down in accordance with management and control purposes (Rod
Rodney Turner, 1993). Rook (1991) defines a work breakdown structure (WBS) as: “…a
product-oriented task hierarchy of all the work that will be performed to accomplish the goals of
the organization.” project. The products may be software, hardware, documentation, tests,
reports, support services, or other quantifiable elements of the objectives....". From the above
theory, we have the following table.
