Purpose :- To attain knowledge of the Divine, Spiritual wealth, removal of all fears and
accomplishment of all desires, material and spiritual. Complete peace of mind.
Introduction :- Śrī Akṣobhya Bhairava is a very gentle and highly spiritual aspect of Lord
Śiva. He his consort of Maa Tara. He bestows spiritual knowledge and dispels all
ignorance to help us expand our consciousness to its highest level. It is believed that
Ekajaṭa Tārā consumed all the poison that was stuck inside the throat of Lord Śiva and
relieved Him of all worries and He therefore assumed the name Akṣobhya, the
unperturbed, calm and serene One! The entire poison is set to be wrapped up on Her
hair, wound up in a single knot at the top of Her head. Some Tārā worshippers as well as
tantras give great importance to this form of Śiva and suggest that worship of Tārā, prior
to the worship and sādhana of Akṣobhya, would not only be fruitless but also harmful.
