    My name is Ivan. I am 8 years old. I am a pupil and I go to school. I live in Novosibirsk.

    I have (got) a big family: a father, a


    mother, a grandfather and a sister. We are very friendly and happy together.

    My family is not very big. I have (got) a father, a mother and a little brother. My mother’s name is Marina and she is a shop
    assistant. She is slim, nice and kind. My father’s name is Victor. He is a driver. He is funny and brave. My brother is 4 years
    old and he doesn’t go to school. I like to play with him. I love my family very much.

    My friend’s name is Vika. She is my classmate and she is 9 years old. We always go to school together. Her favourite subject
    is English. My friend can play the piano and sing. We like to play and go for walks together.

    Vika is a kind and clever girl. She is very pretty. She is tall and slim. Her hair is long and dark, her eyes are blue.

    When I have free time, I like to do many things. I like to ride a bicycle, to play football and to read. I can play football very
    well. It is my favourite hobby. I usually play it with friends in our schoolyard. I also ride a bike in spring and summer.

    ТЕМА "МОЕ ХОББИ - РИСОВАНИЕ" (MY HOBBY IS DRAWING)

    My hobby is drawing

    Hobbies make our life more colouful and they keep us occupied in our leisure time. And I believe hobbies help us both to
    relax and to develop.

    My favourite hobby is drawing. I started drawing when I was five. My mother was a great teacher in my childhood, she
    always encouraged me and praised my funny drawings. She even decorated the house with them. And the best presents on
    my parents’ and grandparents’ birthdays were also my drawings. Of course I was pleased and quite proud of my works.
    Since then this hobby has become a very important part of my life.

    I studied drawing from the special literature containing different sketches. I learnt to imitate drawing nature, beautiful
    buildings, human faces and bodies, animals and birds. I practiced in making them realistic and natural. My hobby made me
    observe the world around me every minute of my life. I realized that observation was the main thing in the art of painting
    and drawing.

    Today drawing and painting are so much fun to me. I just need a paint brush and watercolour, crayons or pencils and some
    drawing paper. And I feel happy and never get bored with my hobby. I try to show all my devotion, imagination and
    creativity in my works. Mostly I am fond of still-lives and landscapes in light colours. Although it happens sometimes that I
    suddenly take a pen and start drawing whatever comes to my mind. I don’t consider myself to be a great artist and I still
    have much to be improved but my friends are always amazed at my pictures and they find them unique.

    Drawing brings me real satisfaction. It is my own little world. And I hope one day it will help me to focus on my goal and
    become a graphic designer.

    Хобби придают нашей жизни больше красок, и они занимают нас в свободное время. И я полагаю, что хобби
    помогают нам и отдыхать, и развиваться.

    Мое любимое хобби – рисование. Я начала рисовать, когда мне было пять лет. Моя мама стала великим учителем в
    детстве, она всегда подбадривала меня и хвалила мои забавные рисунки. Она даже украшала ими наш дом. А
    лучшими подарками на дни рождения моих родителей и бабушки с дедушкой были также мои рисунки. Разумеется,
    мне было приятно и гордилась своими работами. С тех пор мое хобби стало важной частью моей жизни.

    Я училась рисовать по специальной литературе, содержащей различные наброски. Я училась копировать рисунки
    природы, красивых зданий, человеческих лиц и тел, животных и птиц. Я старалась делать их реалистичными и
    натуральными. Мое хобби заставило меня наблюдать за окружающим миром каждую минуту своей жизни. Я
    поняла, что наблюдение является главным в искусстве живописи и рисования.

    Сегодня рисование и живопись доставляют мне столько радости. Мне лишь нужна кисть и акварель, мелки или
    карандаши и бумага для рисования. И я становлюсь счастливой и никогда не устаю от моего хобби. Я пытаюсь
    вложить всю любовь, воображение и креативность в свои работы. В основном, я увлекаюсь натюрмортами и
    пейзажами в светлых тонах. Хотя иногда случается, что я внезапно берусь за ручку и начинаю рисовать все, что
    приходит в голову. Я не считаю себя великой художницей, и мне еще многое нужно совершенствовать, но моих
    друзей всегда удивляют мои картины, и они находят их уникальными.

    Рисование доставляет мне истинное удовольствие. Это мой маленький собственный мир. И я надеюсь, что однажды
    это поможет мне сконцентрироваться на моей цели и стать графическим дизайнером.
