This student-centered activity is set up so students can begin to explore that they already know about
fractions and they will also explore the part of a whole using shapes and models which will be shwoing
to them at the begning of the lesson.
EXPLANATION: Estimated Class Time for the Engagement: 15-25 minutes,
The explanation activities will become much more engaging for the class once they have completed the
