A basic PC system can be (1) divided into two main parts: hardware and software. Software
basically means computer programs; for example, your media player is a (2) type of software.
Hardware, on the other hand, (3) consists of mechanical and electronic equipment. It can be divided
(4) into three main types: the CPU, main memory and peripherals. There are three main
