9. Description/Components/Activities:
A. Overview
In adherence to the provision of DepEd Order 024, s. 2022, “Basic Education
Development Plan of 2023, Pillar No. 3, Strengthening competence of teachers and
instructional leaders on curriculum, instruction and assessment. The Niňo Jesus
Elementary School will conduct a 3-day School-Based INSET. This activity aims to
orient and equip teacher participants on Strategies in Fundamental Reading and
Numeracy Skills: Alignment in Crafting Instructional Materials for 21 st Century
Learners. This will be conducted on Feruary 08 to 10, 2023 at Niňo Jesus Elementary
School, Iriga City.

B. Procedure/Methodology/Strategy

TO: Kinder, Grade 1-VI teachers,

A. In adherence to the provision of DepEd Order 024, s. 2022, “Basic Education

Development Plan of 2023, Pillar No. 3, Strengthening competence of teachers and
instructional leaders on curriculum, instruction and assessment. The Niňo Jesus
Elementary School will conduct a 3-day School-Based INSET. This activity aims to

Numeracy Skills: Alignment in Crafting Instructional Materials for 21 st Century
Learners. This will be conducted on Feruary 08 to 10, 2023 at Niňo Jesus Elementary
School, Iriga City.

B. This activity aims to:

1. Enhance teachers’ strategies for promoting reading and numeracy skills.

2. Capacitate teachers in applying strategies in reading and numeracy skills to the
21st century learners in the classroom.
3. Craft instructional materials aligned to the learning standards required in
reading and numeracy skills of 21st century learners.

C. Participants to this school-based in-service training are the 7 teachers and school
head.
D. Working Committees, Training Matrix and List of Participants are enclosed in this
memorandum.
E. Foods and materials of the participants shall be charged to school MOOE subject to
the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
F. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum to all concerned is earnestly desired.

“Utilization of Podcast Lesson for School Year 2021-2022” the Niňo Jesus
Elementary School of Iriga City adheres with this issuance.
B. Thus, the podcast- based lessons was issued to the field instructing all teachers
through their respective school heads to download these materials from the Google
drive provided by the Division LRMDS.
C. For the purpose of monitoring, you are requested to submit the lists of learners who
were provided with the digital copy of the materials and the lists of downloaded
Podcast-Based Lessons and utilized materials on a weekly basis following the format
atteached herein.
