JAVA Developer

Key responsibilities:

● software development and maintenance of cross-platform JAVA application for


audio-video playback and web content rendering.
● design and implement system architecture and underlying components
● work effectively with team members to gain consensus on technical decisions and
execute them
● anticipate bottlenecks of system design, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance
the business needs versus technical constraints
● collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts in defining product
requirements
● debug various OS issues related to audio-video playback, hardware acceleration,
networking, display settings, RAM & CPU usage, on different environments:
android, linux, windows, docker
● ensure that appropriate software engineering practices are employed to deliver high
quality results

Basic qualifications:

● 5+ years working experience in JAVA code (JAVA SE), JavaScript, HTML applications
● Excellent working knowledge in writing clean and testable code by applying SOLID
principles and common object-oriented design patterns
● Expert knowledge in unit testing with JUnit, mockito.
● Expert experience in developing android applications
○ using JAVA android SDK
○ experienced with android audio-video playback android
technologies
○ experienced with android WebView
● Working experience in developing audio-video apps on Windows
● Working experience in developing audio-video apps on Linux OS
● Working experience of dockers
● Experience in collaborating with Product Owners and Business Analysts in defining
product requirements

Nice to have qualifications:

● Working experience in working with RXJava 3 library


● Working experience of C/C++, python
● experience with running JAVA apps in docker
● experience with running audio-video apps in docker
● experience with AOSP (https://source.android.com/), building the source code,
customizing different aspects of android
● experience in running application build scripts on Jenkins
