COVID-19 Symptom Flowchart (For children under 18, including high school students 18+) March 1, 2022

PRIMARY SYMPTOMS: SECONDARY SYMPTOMS:


Fever - temp of 38º or higher Chills - without fever, not related to being
Cough - continuous, more than usual* outside in cold weather
Shortness of Breath - continuous, unable to Sore Throat/Painful Swallowing*

Isolate for 5 days from the onset of symptoms Keep your child HOME, monitor for 24 hrs.
or until feeling better, whichever is longer. Consider using an at home rapid test if available.
Wear a mask when in public places or in the Return to school if symptoms have improved

At home rapid test kits are available from your school, call the school office to arrange for pickup.
Positive result: Isolate for 5 days or until feeling better, whichever is longer.
Negative result: Return to school when feeling better.
