BACKGROUND OF THE BUSINESS
Otlum’s Street Food got its name from a person who recently
went viral; therefore, it is catchy to many customers because this person is
very familiar to them. Otlum’s Street Food will sell four of the famous street
foods among students, which are: cheese dog bread rolls, cheese sticks,
kikiams, and cheesy hotdog toast. There is also a drink called palamig.
A cheese dog bread roll is a crunchy loaf bread stuffed with

hotdog and cheese. Bread rolls are common in countries like Europe,
Germany, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Philippines.
Cheese sticks originally came from Europe during the late 14 th century. A
cookbook entitled “Le Menagier de Paris” detailed a recipe for cheese sticks.
Kikiam is a sausage-like dish that has a Chinese origin. It was

adopted right away, ever since it was introduced in the Philippines. Cheesy
Hotdog Toast is a sandwich spread with hotdog and cheese which was
discovered by a Filipina who shares her DIY recipes on Facebook.
Palamig, also known as samalamig, is a traditional Filipino

sweet-chilled beverage that usually includes jelly-like ingredients. They are
commonly sold by street vendors as refreshments. Typical ingredients of the
drinks include gulaman, sago pearls, kaong, tapioca pearls, nata de coco,
and coconut.
Filipinos, especially students, love these products because,

aside from the price being so affordable, the taste is so good too. Otlum’s

INTRODUCTION
Aparri West National High School will have its Intramurals

2022 on December 10 and 11. Grade 12 students will join the program by
operating a business as a part of their requirement in entrepreneurship 12.
Grade 12 TVL (AFA and HE) and HUMSS were grouped and
are tasked with having their own booths where they will sell the products
they desire. One of the groups is Otlum’s Street Food, where they will sell
bread rolls, cheese sticks, kikiams, cheesy hotdog toasts, and palamig.
Otlum’s Street Food is not your typical street food vendor, for
the sellers are young entrepreneurs who will apply everything they have
learned from their subject, which is entrepreneurship. Their products will
surely satisfy your cravings and leave you wanting for more.
The significance of knowing how to sell at a young age will

definitely a big help on having a bright future. This activity will make the
young entrepreneurs creative and strategic, which will be needed if they ever
create their own business.
At the end of this task, the grade 12 students would learn how
to operate a business, manage it, calculate the gross profit, and many other
things about entrepreneurship.

Filipinos are known to be fans of street foods, so Otlum’s

products will definitely captivate their attention and satisfy their cravings.
Otlum’s Street Food products are nutritious, authentic, and culture-
enriching. Cleanliness and safety conditions will also be strictly observed.
Bread rolls, cheese sticks, kikiams, cheesy hotdog toast, and

palamig are in great demand, not to mention that these products are also
very affordable but at the same time delicious. Otlum’s Street Food would
certainly win the hearts of the customers.

Otlum’s Street Food plans to launch on December 10 and will

end on December 11 during Aparri West National High School’s intramurals
in 2022. Otlum’s Street Food will have a booth with a Gen-Z design, which
is very timely and surely fits the customers’ tastes.
The expenses will be handled by the crew of Otlum’s Street

Food. Each crew member will have their own task in managing the business.
They are required to help in handling the business unless they have an
emergency or an important matter to do.
The price of the bread roll is Php 10.00 per piece, the cheese
stick is Php 2.00 per piece, the kikiam is Php 5 for 3 pieces, the cheesy
hotdog toast is Php 10 per piece, and the palamig’s price ranges from Php
3.00 to Php 10.00.
Otlum’s Street Food wants to achieve a high income—twice or

even triple the amount they had spent.

Otlum’s Street Food has a lot of benefits, not only to the crews
and customers but also to the society. This task will leave the crew with
more knowledge about entrepreneurship’s environment; not only that, but
also the crew’s skills on socializing, cooking, calculating, and critical
thinking will be enhanced, and they can apply that in the future if ever they
apply for a job or manage their own business.
The customers will experience quality customer service from

Otlum's Street Food and will discover the skills of the young entrepreneurs
in providing delicious and healthy foods. Some customers who have
business might recruit an employee from Otlum’s Street Food too, which is a
great opportunity for them because they have already gained experience in
this task.
The teachers will discover the hidden skills and abilities of the students too.
They might help them to enhance these skills and abilities or give them
opportunities to apply what they are good at.

Aparri West National High School between the ages 11 to 27s, The target
market would be the students of Aparri West National High School in the
specific age range of 11 to 20 who is present during the Intramurals 2022
event of the said school.
