The band was formed in Liverpool in the 1950s but it was not until
October 9, 1960, where "The Beatles" was officially created.
This was the date that John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George
Harrison and Stuart Sutcliffe (who was later replaced by Ringo
Starr in 1962) performed together as The Beatles for the first time
at a club called 'The Kasbah Coffee Club' in Liverpool, England."

The Beatles hold a record of 20 singles that
reached number 1 on the Billboard charts in the
United States
his album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club
Band" has sold more than 32 million copies
worldwide, making it one of the best-selling
albums in history.

DIFFICULT MOMENTS AS A
BAND:
The death of their manager Brian Epstein in
1967 left a void in the band's management
In 1969, the band began to experience internal
tensions that led to their eventual breakup.
In 1966, after a series of sold-out concerts and
difficulty being heard in concert, The Beatles
decided to stop touring.
Finally The Beatles make the decision to
separate in 1970.
