WELCOME 2 Pupil’s Book

Welcome is a three-level beginner’s course for children learning English.

Pupils will be entertained by the book’s lively characters, as their magical
Genie transports them to new and exciting places. All these thrilling
adventures are captured in full-colour illustrations and are accompanied
by action-packed CDs.
Welcome 2 consists of fourteen units of six pages each, with songs,
pronunciation twisters, games and projects. Each unit is divided into three
lessons where all four skills are thoroughly practised.
Welcome 2 combines English language learning with interesting topics.
The language is always presented in context, either through lively

Elizabeth Gray-Virginia Evans

dialogues or enjoyable texts. New vocabulary is presented at the
beginning of each lesson. Grammar is clearly presented and practised in
every lesson giving young learners a sense of achievement through
moderate grading of the syllabus. There are four revision sections that Elizabeth Gray-Virginia Evans
recycle vocabulary and grammar. There is also a play to be performed at
the end of the school year. At the end of the book there is a Photo File
Section for pupils to decorate their projects.
