Elicit: Activity no.1 A Picture to Remember


Procedure:
1. Divide the students into five groups.
A. Reviewing previous lesson or
presenting the new lesson 2. Each group will be given two pictures.
3. All groups should answer the questions given below the pictures.
4. You only have two minutes to do and finish the task.
5. Let the students discuss their outputs by group.
 Which of the two pictures are more attractive than the other?
Why?

Encircle the number if it uses personification and cross it out if it
does not use personification. Write your answer in a 1/2

figures of speech used in the following sentences.

 The highest group who got the correct answer will receive extra
points.

The student will be group into 5 groups in advance. The teacher will
instruct the class that they will be having an activity to be performed
on Wednesday. They will be performing creatively the song
“Fireworks” by Katy Perry.
(The song contains some examples of figures of speech to be discuss
by the teacher next meeting)
