PRELIMINARIES
NOTICE

DATE: October 30, 2023 (Monday) At least five (5) days BEFORE the meeting of
the BBOC, the Chairperson shall give notice
TIME: 6:00 in the evening of election day of the date, time and place of its meeting to:

WHEN ALLOWED

While the aforementioned persons are not


allowed in the canvassing room, the BBOC
may order the detail of policemen or any
peace officer:

WHY -
1. For the protection of the BBOC, or of the
election documents and paraphernalia in its
possession
2. For the maintenance of the peace and
order, in which case said policemen or peace
officers shall be outside the room within a
radius of 30 meters near enough to be easily
called by the BBOC at anytime

HOW -
1. Majority vote
2. In writing

The policemen or peace officers MUST be in


proper uniform.
