    Edgar Allan Poe

    Edgar Allan Poe is widely considered to be one of the greatest poets of all time. He was

    the first American writer to gain international acclaim. They frequently referred to him as

    strange. Everything about him was unique, including his death. He was a gifted poet. Edgar

    Allan Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1809. When he was three years old, his parents

    perished. He was later adopted by Frances and John Allan of Richmond, Virginia. His paintings

    were thought to be profound and detailed. Poe had a wonderful childhood and was a decent

    student. He attended the University of Virginia but was expelled due to gambling problems.

    During his undergraduate years, Poe's relationship with his foster father abruptly

    worsened. He later enlisted in the United States Army and released his first poetry collection,

    "Tamerlane and Other Poems." Timur, a great warrior, muses about his life and what he may

    have been if he had made other choices. He also expressed remorse for not pursuing love earlier

    in his life." Tamerlane, Al Aaraaf, and Minor Poems "Poe's second poetry collection was

    published in 1829. The anthology was built under Poe's ideals. In his poem "Al-Aaraaf," for

    example, he mixes historical facts with religious tradition to weave a fable about perfect love and

    the afterlife.

    The poem's principal topics are the quest of perfection and beauty. Regrettably, neither of

    these masterpieces captured the attention of reviewers or the general public. Due to financial
    difficulties, Poe was unable to take advantage of several chances. After graduating from the

    military academy, he moved in with his aunt Virginia and her daughter Maria.

    Poe used to write short tales and sell them to publications. After working as an editor for

    a newspaper, he married his cousin Virginia in 1836. Over his career, Poe developed his editing

    talents. He would later create a wider collection of art and poems. One of his best-known stories,

    The Tell-Tale Heart, is about an untrustworthy narrator who murders an old man with a "vulture

    eye." The body is then buried beneath the floorboards.

    Edgar Poe's life began to spin out of control after his wife Virginia died of tuberculosis in

    1847. His drinking and mental health issues worsened. He then went to Philadelphia to look for

    job. He was discovered sleeping on a wooden board outside a pub in Baltimore. Poe was

    discovered in "severe pain," according to Atlas Obscura, when he was discovered. He passed

    away on October 7, 1849. According to the Get Lit Anthology, he died as a result of brain

    damage caused by severe congestion.

    To summarize, Edgar Allan Poe had a huge worldwide impact. He was a skilled poet,

    editor, and well-known horror and mystery fiction author. Due of his extensive discography and

    long-honored practice of "art for the sake of art," he is widely regarded as one of the most

    important authors of our time.
